Help us make Bay County No-Kill!
Operation Spay Bay is a community effort of several local rescues all coming together for the focused goal of reducing the needless destruction we see in our kill shelters on a daily basis.  We follow Humane Alliance training and standards to ensure your pets receive the best possible care.

We are proud to be supported by the following foundations!

PetSmart Charities has been supporting use since the beginning and we are so grateful!  Every time you shop at PetSmart you have the option to donate at checkout and the money goes straight to supporting programs like OSB.
We are so pleased to have been chosen as a 2017 grant recipient for the Florida Animal Friend annual grant!  With this funding, we will be able to provide spay/neuter for hundreds more animals and combat pet overpopulation.  Click the license plate to purchase a plate and support the cause!
We are thrilled to be recognized by Petco for our spay/neuter efforts.  In 2017, we received a $15,000 grant to help extend our efforts and meet the Petco Foundation's mission to raise the quality of life for pets and the people who love

Operation Spay Bay is supported by its President, Mary Marie Clemo and the following rescue groups:

Animal Rescue Center of Bay County, Inc.                                850-387-0224
Animal Rescue Center of Bay County, Inc. is a nonprofit, all volunteer, no-kill, foster based organization founded in 2006.  Our primary focus is saving at-risk pets from our local animal control, and placing them in foster homes.  Many of these animals are abandoned due to no fault of their own, and deserve a second chance at life. That is what ARC is trying to give them.  That is why we are firmly behind the founding of Operation Spay Bay!  We believe that the increased sterilization of pets will greatly reduce the need for euthanization.

Castaway Cats, Inc.                                                       PO Box 291, Panama City, Florida 32402
Castaway Cats, Inc. was established in 2001 as an organization that practices Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).  Castaway Cats is excited about being a part of Operation Spay Bay as we believe that high volume/low cost spay and neuter is the only way to really control the overpopulation of community cats.  We believe if more people had access to affordable spay and neuter options fewer cats would end up on the street making our job less taxing.  We would like nothing better than to have Operation Spay Bay put Castaway Cats out of business!

Panama City Beach Paws & Claws, Inc.            850-234-6284
Panama City Beach Paws & Claws, Inc. is a small, volunteer based, 501c3 non-profit, animal welfare organization. Since establishment in 2002, PCB Paws & Claws has developed a strong volunteer base that has helped thousands of homeless and abandoned cats and dogs find their forever homes. This small group has many facets of animal rescue, including an Adoption Program, Spay/Neuter Assistance, Community Assistance, Trap-Neuter-Return Programs, and Foster Programs.
